Good Wins: March 9–13 | IT Support Highlights from the Mid-SouthGood Wins: March 9–13 | IT Support Highlights from the Mid-South

It’s Spring Break in the Mid-South. That means people are working remotely, traveling, or answering emails from places like the Zoo.

Even with schedules shifting, our team stayed busy making sure our customers were supported and secure. From monitoring security alerts to installing equipment and troubleshooting network issues, it was a full week.

We also launched a new Resources page on our website this week. On the page you’ll find Microsoft shortcuts and a new AI Guide where we share best practices for using AI tools and explain how businesses can start thinking about creating a virtual AI employee.

And if you missed it on social media, we also shared a look at what some of our team members looked like as kids. See if you can guess who’s who!

Here are a few of this week’s Good Wins.

Customer Wins

Antivirus Alerts Blocked

Our monitoring systems flagged several attempts to run malicious files on customer workstations during the week. Our team reviewed the alerts, confirmed the files were malicious, and isolated or quarantined them to prevent any issues.

These alerts are part of the proactive security monitoring we provide for managed customers.

Equipment Installed for Customers

This week our team installed and configured several pieces of equipment for customers across the Mid-South, including servers, workstations, network switches, printers, and battery backups.

Proper installation helps ensure systems stay reliable and secure as businesses grow.

Fax Machine Causing Network Issues

A customer in the real estate industry reported that when their fax machine was plugged in, multiple users would lose connection to the server.

During an on-site visit, we discovered the fax machine was also acting as the network printer and had been connected to an offline switch. Once the switch was powered back on and the printer restarted, everything returned to normal and the fax feature worked as expected.

Customer Feedback

We review post-service surveys every week, and it’s one of our favorite parts of Friday.

“Awesome turnaround and support!”
Gortria B. | Nonprofit Industry

“Jordan is always so nice! And efficient!”
Sandra G. | Financial Industry

“Goodwin PC always takes care of any issue very promptly.”
Victor S. | Construction Industry

“As always, a very prompt resolution to our problems! I believe Isaac is the one to thank this time… Thank you!”
Lyn H. | Retail Industry

We’re grateful for the trust our customers place in us and proud of the team that shows up consistently.
