What a week.

Weeks like this are a good reminder of our team and the community around us.

Saturday night, Goodwin PC had the opportunity to sponsor the Southern Community Foundation Gala, and a few of our team members attended. This year’s event supported a new STEM lab for Hernando Intermediate School, something we’re proud to be part of as a technology company.

We also received word that we were voted one of DeSoto’s Best Computer Repair companies. That recognition came directly from the community, and we’re grateful for the support.

To wrap it up, our team celebrated a strong 2025 with a night out at the FedExForum for Nate Bargatze’s Big Dumb Eyes tour. It was a fun night to step away, spend time together, and laugh a lot.

Customer Wins

UPS Replaced and Network Fully Restored

A customer was experiencing issues with a battery backup in their server environment.

Our team quickly worked through the issue, replacing the battery and confirming the UPS itself had failed. We coordinated replacement equipment and scheduled time for installation.

During the follow-up visit, we installed two new UPS units, connected all critical equipment, and brought the network back online. Everything was tested and confirmed fully operational.

Access Restored to P6 Software

A customer in the construction industry needed help accessing their P6 software.

Our team reviewed the workstation, identified an issue with the database configuration, and made the necessary adjustments. Once updated, the user was able to successfully access the program and get back to work.

New Employees Set Up and Ready

We set up new users for several customers across different industries this week.

Our team created user accounts, configured email, enrolled users in password management, and set up spam filtering. Once everything was complete, we shared credentials and confirmed each user was ready to go.
